His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majid Al-Hoqail, has launched the professional accreditation membership through the Tawakkalna Services app for members of the Saudi Engineers Authority. This initiative follows a cooperation memorandum recently signed between the Engineers Authority and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) aimed at adding the membership card to the Tawakkalna Services app. This launch occurred after a meeting in which the Saudi Engineers Authority reviewed its key professional achievements in the engineering sector over the past year, along with its strategic plan for the current year, 2023.
Mr. Majid Al-Otaibi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Engineers Authority, stated that this step is part of the efforts of both entities to empower engineers, specialists, technicians, and students in engineering programs to obtain an electronic proof of professional membership with the Engineers Authority. He noted that this initiative aligns with the directives of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing to enhance and develop digital services for the engineering sector in the Kingdom. This collaboration aims to support the digital transformation goals consistent with the Vision 2030 objectives while facilitating access for Saudi and resident members.
The Secretary-General of the Saudi Engineers Authority, Engineer Abdul Nasser Al-Abdulatif, expressed his gratitude to the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) for their collaborative efforts in successfully completing this project through the use of technology, which contributes to enhancing the level of services provided by the Engineers Authority to its members, both individuals and engineering firms.
