SCE signs MOU with Autodesk Company to train and develop local talents

The Saudi Council of Engineers "SCE" signed a memorandum of understanding with Autodesk Company to train and develop the local talents to apply the recent engineering technologies in the electronic engineering training, by training 150 Saudi female engineers in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.

Eng. Abdulatif Al Harakan, the SCE Secretary General, asserted that SCE is keen to support the Saudi female engineers and designers to contribute in their development to enter into the professional field strongly and effectively, participate in managing the most important projects all over KSA and ensure that the Saudi female engineer is aware of recent scientific findings in the field of engineering to keep abreast of KSA 2030 Vision which significantly targeted the individual and group levels. He noted that it is agreed with Autodesk to train 150 female engineers in three regions; Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam against SAR 900 instead of 15 thousands Saudi Riyal as being the actual cost of such courses to maintain its continues support to increase the Saudi engineers and generally develop the engineering profession over the local and international levels to keep up with the recent design technologies over the international level.

Eng. Abdulatif Al Harakan emphasized that SCE realizes the importance of guided and directed engineering training. Thus, it jointly cooperated with Autodesk Company to provide more training and developing courses in such filed. He added that SCE seeks to be among the certified international centers for tests in the future.
