The Saudi Engineers Authority concluded its 19th Ordinary General Assembly meeting, held virtually, to present and discuss the approved topics, which included the annual report for 2022, the final accounts for 2022, and the appointment of the external auditor for 2023. The meeting was attended by the Authority's primary members (Saudi engineers), and the aim of the annual meeting is to participate and vote on the topics presented.
Engineer Ahmed Al-Sheikh, a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Engineers Authority, explained that the Authority continuously works to achieve the goals it set in the past year to attain the highest practices and standards in the engineering field in the Kingdom. The Authority aims, through its development plans, to serve its members—including engineers, technicians, specialists, and students of engineering programs—while also striving for comprehensive and sustainable development of the engineering sector and enhancing the quality of life.
He added that the Authority will continue to excel and make further efforts to provide the best engineering services, which will be a crucial enabler to keep pace with the growth of the engineering sector in the Kingdom and to meet the aspirations of the wise leadership.
For his part, Engineer Abdul Nasser Al-Abdul Latif, Secretary General of the Saudi Engineers Authority, stated that the Authority is a fundamental pillar in supporting the engineering sectors to participate in building and achieving the aspirations of citizens and the nation as a whole. He emphasized the importance of supporting and enhancing the capabilities of its members and equipping them with technical and professional skills that contribute to improving their performance towards contributing to various engineering development projects through the specialized training programs offered by the Authority. He praised the efforts of national engineering personnel working alongside the Authority and in various engineering sectors through activating and implementing professional programs and initiatives to achieve the objectives.
It is worth noting that the topics discussed in the General Assembly meeting were approved by the members of the Saudi Engineers Authority, affirming their agreement on the achievements outlined in the annual report for 2022, the final accounts for 2022, as well as the appointment of the external auditor for 2023.
