The Secretary General of the Saudi Council of Engineers, Engineer Abdul Mohsen Al Majnouni, met with the Council for Regulating the Practice of Engineering Professions, represented by Engineer Abdul Nabi Al Sabah, Vice President of the Council, and Engineer Hassan Al Sheikh, Executive Director of the Council, to discuss ways of cooperation and exchange of experiences between them.
The authority’s official spokesman, Engineer Saleh Al-Omar, explained that the meeting included discussing several basic topics in the engineering sector, the most important of which is the system for practicing engineering professions, and discussing ways of cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of professional examinations.
Al-Omar added that the meeting focused on activities conflicting with the work of engineering offices and companies, supporting professions, discussion about licensing technicians, and issues related to the field of engineering.
This meeting comes as part of the Authority’s endeavor to enhance joint cooperation between relevant authorities, develop the engineering professions sector in the Kingdom, and achieve the highest standards of quality and excellence in this field, to contribute to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
