Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) launched online EJTTIAZ service

On Wednesday 6 Rabi Al Awaal, 1440 AH, corresponding to 14 November 2018 AD, at the General Secretariat Headquarters in Riyadh, Eng. Saad Bin Mohammed Al Shahrani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) launched online EJTTIAZ service, which obligates any engineer desiring to work in KSA to be registered with SCE, prior engineer's arrival to KSA, and prior contracting and granting such engineer a work visa by engineering companies and offices in both government and private sectors.  

SCE Chairman asserted that this service aims to facilitate procedures to those desiring to work in KSA, and for employers and various sectors in KSA as well, adding that this service was delivered by SCE in cooperation with some government sectors, including inter alia, Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Passports,  Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saudi embassies and consulates in the countries of the world, through making system link and integration between SCE and these entities, and applying decisions issued with respect to non-granting of work or entry visa to KSA to those not possessing the professional capability and competence in any of the engineering specialties approved in KSA, and applied by SCE.

Eng. Al Shahrani pointed out that EJTTIAZ is characterized as providing various and comfortable services, topped by remote online registration through the link click here, and online payment, as you may choose suitable method of payment, and pay the application fees through Visa or MasterCard credit cards, or through SADAD Payment System in KSA, then an SCE temporary membership will be issued. 

This service is fast and easy in registration, and attaching academic qualifications, experience certificates, supporting documents quickly within a short period.

"This service depends on applying the mandatory condition of five years of experience for any engineer desiring to work in KSA, in addition to verifying his data.  This service aims to prevent entry of non-certified engineers to KSA, and prevent entry of counterfeiters to KSA, regulating engineering sector, preventing the entry of any person unless after ensuring that he possesses the professional efficiency, stopping engineering violations in engineering companies and offices, as well as reducing engineering mistakes in projects". Eng. Saad stated.

SCE Chairman concluded that this service has many benefits to the homeland, citizen and economy in KSA, most importantly raising the quality of engineering work by having efficient engineers, allowing opportunity for the Saudi engineer and giving him priority in job opportunities, reducing cost burden on government and private sectors desiring to recruit engineers and technicians to work in KSA.
