The Saudi Council of Engineers launches the digital stamp service to preserve engineering professions and enhance their role in digital transformation

The Saudi Council of Engineers launched the “Digital Stamp” service as part of its operations to authenticate digital documents, with the aim of enhancing the reliability and legality of documents.

The official spokesman for the Saudi Council of Engineers, Engineer Saleh Al-Omar, explained that the digital stamp would contribute to raising the efficiency of the authority’s professional accreditation certificate and protecting it from forgery or damage, in addition to having a high level of security.

He noted that this step comes in response to the Authority’s role in preserving engineering professions, preventing identity theft and forgery, and making it easier for beneficiaries to verify documents and protect them from damage. The Stamp is legally approved by other authorities.

Al-Omar pointed out that the “digital stamp” contributes to securing electronic transactions and providing the highest levels of security and reliability.

The Authority's official spokesman confirmed that this service comes within the framework of programs to support digital transformation, which aim to dispense with paper requirements in an innovative and highly reliable manner.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Council of Engineers is considered one of the bodies accredited by the National Center for Digital Certification for approved government digital certification services.
