299 riyals is the value of the first training programs offered by Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) to learn English

​​In order to enhance the development of the English language among its members and their families, SCE offers training programs that start from 299 riyals, following the SCE agreement with EF Education First Ltd to provide them with multi-level courses, with the ability to perform the courses in attendance or online at special prices and discounts.

The Secretary-General of SCE, Eng, Farhan bin Habaiter Al-Shammari, explained that the agreement aims to benefit more than 400 thousand members of SCE and their families to provide courses of knowledge value and scientific quality at a competitive price, adding that the agreement provides training in various levels of the English language as classes for online or attendance learning. According to the arrangements that will be announced at the time, while the courses focus on providing appropriate content cognitively to the needs of the participants and according to their own abilities to gain the ability to reach advanced levels in practicing and speaking the language.

Al-Shammari indicated that the courses include providing the English language through levels starting from beginner to advanced level, provided that the duration of one program isn't less than two weeks, adding that benefiting from the agreement includes members of the SCE and direct family members of the member such as the husband, brother, children, and parents.

He pointed out that the agreement guarantees that the participants obtain original copies of the course in the various academic levels in which they participated, in order to ensure the sustainability of its impact and gains, noting that the courses come within the framework of developing and qualifying the capabilities of members and employees of SCE and their families through the use of experts in various fields, and providing The best appropriate solutions to raise
their capabilities and competitiveness in the market by empowering them in the English language as one of the skills of high demand with competitive quality and prices.​
